Since 2006, we have been supporting growers and installers in monitoring and improving water quality in heating and cooling systems, while providing service, support, and products worldwide.
🔬 Water analyses
Our water analyses provide insight into whether the water quality meets the equipment guidelines, with up to 50 measurement points if needed. In addition, deposition analyses show exactly what precipitation or contamination consists of, helping to identify the root cause of problems.
⚙️ Treatment
With carefully selected products, we effectively adjust the water quality. Our treatments comply with the guidelines and requirements of the equipment, and are safe and user-friendly in application.
🛡️ Protection
Large water volumes in horticulture require extra attention and specialist expertise that should not be underestimated. Effective measures protect a wide range of installations, from (biomass) boilers, e-boilers, and CHP systems to heat pumps, air handling units, and (geo)thermal networks.
🌍 International
Through our worldwide network, we can provide support anywhere with water analyses and water treatment products.
Through our worldwide partners, we carry out water analyses and provide direct advice based on the results. In addition, we supply complete water treatment solutions, including corrosion inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, pH boosters, and copper protectors. In this way, we ensure reliable and sustainable operation of installations worldwide.
In the Netherlands, boilers increasingly function as a backup system, while in many other countries they remain the primary heat source. Regardless of operating hours, boiler water must be protected against harmful components. Calcium and magnesium cause scaling, while salts such as chloride (Cl⁻) and sulfate (SO₄²⁻) lead to corrosion. Appropriate water treatment prevents these issues and extends the service life of the installation.
Dissolved oxygen in boiler water accelerates corrosion processes. With suitable additives, this oxygen can be effectively removed, even at fluctuating temperatures. This reduces the risk of steel surface degradation and contributes to reliable and safe boiler operation.
Heat Pumps
Due to the presence of copper heat exchangers, heat pumps require extra attention to water quality. Substances such as ammonia (NH4⁺) can damage these heat exchangers and cause further issues in the system through galvanic effects. We provide solutions to optimize water quality and protect the system.
Low-Temperature Heating
At low temperatures, water can contain more oxygen, increasing the risk of corrosion.
We offer products that remove oxygen even at low temperatures, as well as products that use oxygen to form a protective film layer on steel. Depending on the situation and budget, we provide advice and supply suitable products
Special cases
In this case, fluoride from the intake combustion air caused severe damage to the aluminum condenser. With a combination of fluid and deposit analyses, we were able to demonstrate that this concerned aluminum fluoride. This made the actual cause visible and allowed for a targeted solution to be developed.
This 51 mm pipeline showed severe corrosion after only a few weeks. Analysis revealed that the cause was a low pH of 5.5. With targeted correction of the water chemistry, this type of damage can easily be prevented.
Due to a leaking oil cooler, oil entered the heating system. With the right measures, the contamination can be largely removed and the water quality can be adjusted.
Geothermal Energy
Two in-line stainless steel filters with high-flow baskets ensure that the full flow is filtered before the water enters the heat exchanger of the geothermal installation. Each filter has a capacity of 54 m³/h. Since heat exchangers often operate at low flow rates and therefore foul more quickly, effective filtration is essential here.
High Flow
The photo shows the difference between a standard basket and a high-flow basket. The high-flow version with a DN80 connection can handle up to 54 m³/h, allowing for a much higher flow rate with the same installation size.
Dosing Pumps
Compact dosing units make it possible to add inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, pH boosters, or other conditioning agents to the system water in a controlled way. This actively regulates the water quality and keeps the installation optimally protected.
